The sounds of space. Haunting, and beautiful. _________________ Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Wow! I would think that without gravity the sound would be almost nonexistent. Interesting! Thanks for posting those! _________________ ]Is the iPhone the Next Great Force in Portable Gaming? Find out here: http://doctamario.wordpress.com |

Who knew Space sounded so creepy? _________________ I am a warrior. I fight for the Mother Moon, whose dark light shines a pale beauty upon our eternal land. Shine on Moon, and show your children the way...
Of such great powers or beings there may be conceivably a survival... a survival of a hugely remote period when... consciousness was manifested, perhaps, in shapes and forms long since withdrawn before the tide of advancing humanity... forms of which poetry and legend alone have caught a flying memory and called them gods, monsters, mythical beings of all sorts and kinds...

I find these sounds very therapeutic and relaxing. Is that wrong? _________________ "I am a blooming Lilac in the dread valley; beauty in an ugly life, and when the rain comes to bring life to a dead land, my purpose is served, and I fade away, to return when death takes the valley once more."

Nice tracks, but these aren't real. The Jupiter track description says "Sounds like a giant metal gong being rubbed around the edge with a wooden stick". It probably is. There is no noise in space. However, these do sound cool. _________________ Is it not fascinating that we vilify the living, but rush to martyr the dead? |

You are half right. There is indeed no sound in space. However, there are electromagnetic signals that can be interpreted by a computer as sounds. What you are hearing in these files is the NASA computer's audio interpretation of solar winds, magnetic fields, and cosmic radition. _________________ Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Scuse me.
