King Arthur in Soul Calibur?!

I was doing some reading on the backstory of Soul Edge, and came across something about a King of Old who was able to wield Soul Edge without being consumed. His son stole the blade and was possessed, and the King had to kill his own son, and shattered Soul Edge in the end, and had a wizard forge Soul Calibur from one of the Fragments.

Here's how I see it:

King=Arthur
Son=Lancelot/Mordred (take your pick)
Soul Edge=Arondight (the blade of a hero that became a source of great evil)
Soul Calibur=Excalibur

Plus, ExCALIBUR and Soul CALIBUR.

Huh.

It is a possibility I remeber reading in EGM that Soul Calibur 4 will tell the story of the King who first forged the blades.

Well, as it turned out, Algol was the King, and not Arthur. Pity. Arthur would have been awesome. But wait... CREATE A CHARACTER!! YES!!
