A lot of people bash this in well... every game since Symphony. But I like it.

It's sort of fun to run through the game, seeing how many familiar sprites I can find. And then when I find a reused one I didn't know I go, "Huh... Must replay that game then."

What's your take on sprite reuse? It's not always due to laziness....

I admit that there are times when I see an old Rondo/Symphony sprite in one of the DS games and think "Oh cool that reminds me of Rondo/SotN" But there is a limit! It eventually got to the point to where I started rolling my eyes at every room because of the re-used enemies. Confused

Yeah, I agree with Shadow. There are some times that it's alright (and nostalgic, somewhat) but when you're using a thirteen year old sprite (hello wyvern in PoR) it's just inexcusable.

I would just like to say that Rondo's skeleton deserves a vacation. A paid vacation. I mean, the poor guy's been re-used in practically every game after Rondo, with a few exceptions.

Actually, two sprites I don't have a problem with are the skeleton and medusa head sprites. They can reuse them as much as they want.

I kinda hoped that once Rondo came out worldwide we'd see an end to the sprite reusage. I guess I was wrong though. X^P

It was good until Portrait, where almost every enemy was recycled from a previous game, as if every game already established was simply made to provide sprites for that one. It's disgusting.

Meh, I've been tired of it since Aria. And even THAT was going too far. When you consider how old those sprites are, and the fact that Dawn jumped to a different system, they should have had new enemy sprites to go with it. FLAMES OF RAGE!!

Still, at least in Portrait they recycled sprites that hadn't been reused before!

Even Richter and Maria were ripped sprite sets in Portrait! That's AWFUL!

Sprite reuse is horrible, and one of my biggest gripe with each new game. It's a reason to like Circle; not one sprite was reused from another game.
