Is Nelo Angelo broken or what?

Okay. I was playing Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition yesterday, and I decided to play as Nelo Angelo (Vergil's Devil May Cry 1 form). FREAKING BADASS.

Now, here's the thing.

I noticed that Nelo did more damage in Devil Trigger using Yamato than Super Vergil's Yamato Devil Trigger did. His health regeneration is also seemingly higher. Not to mention all of Nelo's bunker busting attacks that smash guards and the like. This is what we call "Broken".

Nelo seems a bit overpowered compared to Vergil's other costumes, while Sparda in the same game is just a skin swap of Dante, with no additional attacks in Devil Trigger, and no stat bonuses either.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah it is quite broken, but that is what makes it some much fun. Very Happy

Which is your favorite attack? I like his forward slash. Massive damage, and it covers real good amounts of territory!

He's just as broken as any other Devil Trigger state in DMC3 SE. So I vote no. Just because regular DT's are super fast in their attacks and Nelo does super damage instead doesn't make him any more broken.

Having at long last unlocked Nelo in 3SE, I have to say he's INCREDIBLY broken.
