He's been playable in Devil May Cry 1 and 3.
Which game do you prefer to play as him in?
I prefer Devil May Cry, because he starts with both Force Edge and Yamato, which allows him to Devil Trigger right off the bat, and gives him access to the Sparda Devil Arm while in Devil Trigger.
When I play as him in 3, he just seems stripped down from that. _________________ I am a warrior. I fight for the Mother Moon, whose dark light shines a pale beauty upon our eternal land. Shine on Moon, and show your children the way...
Of such great powers or beings there may be conceivably a survival... a survival of a hugely remote period when... consciousness was manifested, perhaps, in shapes and forms long since withdrawn before the tide of advancing humanity... forms of which poetry and legend alone have caught a flying memory and called them gods, monsters, mythical beings of all sorts and kinds...

Devil May Cry was easily his best. _________________ "It is often stated that we must weigh the potential benefits and risks before we do something perceived as risky. Of course we must, but it is mathematically impossible to solve one equation with two unknowns. In the end, it all comes down to common sense, which varies among all of mankind, and is never foolproof. Let it be no other way, and let us rejoice for those who are brave and boldly step out into an uncertain future and let us pity, comfort, and then gently nudge in the right direction those who lack the bravery or ability to do so by themselves."

| Obviously, the vote's going to always go in favor of Devil May Cry. Why even waste time asking the question? |

Because someone was going to ask it eventually, so I thought I'd get it out of the way. _________________ I am a warrior. I fight for the Mother Moon, whose dark light shines a pale beauty upon our eternal land. Shine on Moon, and show your children the way...

Devil May Cry 1, although Super Sparda Mode in DMC3 SE was fun. _________________ Therapists like me get a bad rap even though we're out to help people. That's like calling Captain America a Nazi. It makes no sense. SUPPORT YOUR THERAPISTS!!
