The sounds of space. Haunting, and beautiful.

Wow! I would think that without gravity the sound would be almost nonexistent. Interesting! Thanks for posting those!

Who knew Space sounded so creepy?

Of such great powers or beings there may be conceivably a survival... a survival of a hugely remote period when... consciousness was manifested, perhaps, in shapes and forms long since withdrawn before the tide of advancing humanity... forms of which poetry and legend alone have caught a flying memory and called them gods, monsters, mythical beings of all sorts and kinds...

I find these sounds very therapeutic and relaxing. Is that wrong?

Nice tracks, but these aren't real. The Jupiter track description says "Sounds like a giant metal gong being rubbed around the edge with a wooden stick". It probably is. There is no noise in space. However, these do sound cool.

You are half right. There is indeed no sound in space. However, there are electromagnetic signals that can be interpreted by a computer as sounds. What you are hearing in these files is the NASA computer's audio interpretation of solar winds, magnetic fields, and cosmic radition.

Scuse me. O.M.G!

What's the point? They are only about 30 seconds long each.
