first of yes i used tis on purpose not a typo

next IX while with cartoonish graphics was lets face it ff and thus at least by broodish us standards not kiddie graphics alone do not make something kiddie or not for instance dears perverted sick and twisted and that's just the teacher but full of oh so cute Chibis not a kids series by any stretch then theres what was mentioned on the VII vs VIII board about the citys getting wiped. out it's sorta like with the harry potter series okay admittedly that was tame to start but it got darker and darker to the point where some people refuse to read it for fear of depression or something like that but it still retains the label of a kiddie series my point is graphics alone and a tail don't make it kiddie and if you dislike it cause zidanes' species could be the sayans interdimensional counterparts so what dbz isn't exactly kiddie either

The graphics were terrible, the music was so-so, the plot wasn't that good, and in the end the character design was just too cartoony to allow me to think of it as a depressing or broody game. I was too busy laughing my ass of every time Kuja showed up in all of his trans-sexual glory to pay attention to the brooding. Kiddy gets my vote.

Of such great powers or beings there may be conceivably a survival... a survival of a hugely remote period when... consciousness was manifested, perhaps, in shapes and forms long since withdrawn before the tide of advancing humanity... forms of which poetry and legend alone have caught a flying memory and called them gods, monsters, mythical beings of all sorts and kinds...

Anybody who can look past the aesthetics of IX would see that it isn't kiddie. If anyone here is a Zelda fan and has played Wind Waker, they would understand what I mean when I say that WW was dark with an extremely cartoony art style. The cartoonish graphics in WW hide a story that literally begins by telling of how a kingdom was abandoned by its hero and was wiped out because of it, and shortly after that your sister gets kidnapped on your birthday. IX is kind of like that, except the design isn't nearly as cartoonish as WW was. Similar to KH, IX is kid-friendly, not kiddie, the difference being that the former is something kids can enjoy as well as more mature audiences, while the latter being something that only kids can enjoy.

I admit it was dark, but as I stated before, I was too busy laughing at the art style to notice the first time I played.

The Graphics were the only kiddie thing about it.

I've seen a bit of it, and it seemed at least slightly kiddie to me.

Zidane grabs Garnet's butt in one scene.

Doesn't seem kiddy to me.

Kids do that all the time. It's perfectly kiddy in that sense.

You missed my point completely.

Yeah, Zidane's not a kid. But grabbing a girl's but is childish and kiddy behavior.

I don't know if it's kiddy, but I don't like Zidane. A real pervert if you ask me. I'd retcon him if I was [insert name of FF producer here]. I'd hunt him down and kill him if he was real.

The game was otherwise good. I still don't know if it was kiddy. Sad
