Top of my list is Oranguerra and Jokatgulum from DMC2. Really, none of the bosses in DMC2 felt like they really belonged in the series, but those two stand out particularly.

| Argosax from DMC2. No reason to include him at all. They should have just resurrected Mundus. |

The Leviathan from 3. A giant flying... whale? WTF? _________________ I am a warrior. I fight for the Mother Moon, whose dark light shines a pale beauty upon our eternal land. Shine on Moon, and show your children the way...
Of such great powers or beings there may be conceivably a survival... a survival of a hugely remote period when... consciousness was manifested, perhaps, in shapes and forms long since withdrawn before the tide of advancing humanity... forms of which poetry and legend alone have caught a flying memory and called them gods, monsters, mythical beings of all sorts and kinds...

Gigapede from 3. Horrid boss. Obviously a filler. _________________ Therapists like me get a bad rap even though we're out to help people. That's like calling Captain America a Nazi. It makes no sense. SUPPORT YOUR THERAPISTS!!

Nightmare from DMC. A huge grey blob with no purpose in the story. _________________ "It is often stated that we must weigh the potential benefits and risks before we do something perceived as risky. Of course we must, but it is mathematically impossible to solve one equation with two unknowns. In the end, it all comes down to common sense, which varies among all of mankind, and is never foolproof. Let it be no other way, and let us rejoice for those who are brave and boldly step out into an uncertain future and let us pity, comfort, and then gently nudge in the right direction those who lack the bravery or ability to do so by themselves."

All of Dante's boss battles in DMC4. Backtracking for the lose. _________________ You are food. Nourishment. I will hunt you, and then I will devour you.

But you must admit that Berial's death scene was awesome. _________________ "I must not fear. Fear is the Mind Killer. I will face my fear and let it pass through me, and when it is gone, only I will remain."

Backtracking isn't bad all the time, but there was an excessive amount of it in DMC4. _________________ I am a warrior. I fight for the Mother Moon, whose dark light shines a pale beauty upon our eternal land. Shine on Moon, and show your children the way...

| I've noticed alot of it in all of the dmc games except 2 oddly enough unless you count the second disc which even had unique areas. |

Arius from DMC2. But Bolverk from the same game fit in well enough. _________________ "I am a blooming Lilac in the dread valley; beauty in an ugly life, and when the rain comes to bring life to a dead land, my purpose is served, and I fade away, to return when death takes the valley once more."

Bolverk was a very fun boss to fight. I should go back and beat the crap out of him again. _________________ Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right.
